Would not be surprised if they pull a switcharoo and fought Benavides instead in September. It makes complete sense for the money man to hold out till the last possible moment to keep the other team's purse demands in check. Charlo doesn't make a whole lot of sense. He struggled massively against journeyman Montiel over 2 years ago. This is the same old tired song. First, haters claim Canelo is avoiding fighter X. Second, Canelo signs to fight X. Third, haters claim that fighter X is not really that good, that he is (fill in the excuse).
