I watched a video of the fight, and it shouldn't have been stopped. Gotti wasn't hurt in the least and Mayweather, while outboxing Gotti wasn't looking impressive. Maybe the fight was stopped because Gotti was looking too good against Mayweather.

Bayless didn't stop it for anyone being hurt. He stopped it because he had warned them he would stop if they continued to ignore his instructions. They continued to ignore him; he stopped it, just like he had warned them.

Floyd mayweather was landing at will and demonstrating to the knowledgable boxing fans (not fight fans) how good he was and still is against the BIGGER man. Had this fool behaved himself, he may have had a chance fo the extra cash if he’d shown respect but alas…no.
it’s only the name that got him the crack at Floyd, nothing else and remember, it was an exhibition, this misinformed young fellah thought it was a momentous time in the world of boxing with delusions of being 2-0 and beating arguably the greatest boxer of all time but certainly the greatest defensive boxer of all time. Also, I used to love watching Floyd fight back when he was fighting but these kind of fights are creating dreamers when it’s just an offering of some easy cash.

How exactly was Gotti " looking good?" He was just a punching bag that couldn't even hit Mayweather who toyed with him.

They should probably keep Pac far away from Gotti also. Kid is danger

Mayweather was indeed toying with Gotti, but why wasn't he trying to finish him? Also, toward the last Gotti was landing an occasional punch. Mayweather, to me anyway wasn't doing anything to Gotti to have the fight stopped. I'm not disagreeing that that Floyd was easily out boxing Gotti but he wasn't hurting him either.

Shame on Bayless for robbing the fans of something they paid to see. This was an exhibition and the fans paid good money for the entertainment. Bayless didn't punish Mayweather and Gotti, he punished the fans.
