You mean Bud moved up in weight, Postel couldn't live at 147, he was an ordinary fighter I think Bud just gave him too much respect because he was coming up as a fighter, TC is a much more seasond fighter now, he can still move like it if he wants to look at his movement in training it's still there.

In training and under the bright lights are two different things. Yes we can all Dance around in training but for how long knowing that the guy in front of you stamina is through the roof. He will be on his bike when he needs to but he hasn’t got the legs to do it through out the fight. He needs to back Spence up as Spence is not as prolific fighting on the back foot. Personally the only way I see Bud winning is if Spence can’t handle Buds power. I can’t wait to see both their gas tanks empty and they are fighting with just sheer will and pride.....around the 10th round

        Genuine question.
        The hypocrisy is entertaining.

Postol was the last prime elite fighter (at the time) that Crawford fought. Hasn’t fought some one with Postol’s hype and physical prime ever since.

To reply to the thread specifically, Crawford can’t fight Spence like he fought Postol because Spence isn’t Postol. Spence will fight Crawford with a way different style than Postol.

Spence might look way better than Postol, or worse. Who knows which Spence will show up. He fought once in 2020, once in 2022, and now 15 months later will fight once in 2023. Spence is a wildcard. I am leaning towards him though, reluctantly.
Is there a lesser version of spence that nobody knows about?

No, and that’s the point. With his constant inactivity, going 1-2 years between fights, car crash, 33 years old, we don’t know if we’re going to get a prime Spence or finally, a physically finished Spence.

You can only play with inactivity so much. You go down that path over and over again, sooner or later it will catch up to you. Versus a fighter like Crawford, it could be the time where it shows. Crawford is an expert in retiring fighters who are at the end of their careers.

So this fight will show us if Spence is prime or if Ugas was his peak, and now he’s going downhill.

I mean, it sounds good. And I sorta agree with you. However, every fight Spence has been in has been a Spence fight. Period. There’s nothing to say that he’s not a machine. If he loses, he loses to the better fighter. No excuses

Thats what I alluded to he isnt going to dance around all night, I was looking at the footspeed and execution, lots of training clips I see I pay no attention to stamina what I look for is speed and poise what he can do is use his quick feet in bursts for angles, I cant see him backing Spence up unless he cracks him and hurts him early to get the respect, if Errol is not bothered by TCs power its going to be very hard to keep him off, I also think TC strength is very underrated, similar to how Floyds strength was very underrated, right now Im truly on the fence I can see both guys winning and I don't think any poster is wrong it's all possible in this fight.

                      We also need to remember:

Fresh off a major car crash that's crippled other men like Magnum T.A., where his body was ejected from the vehicle, this dude came back and gave Danny Swift a boxing lesson, eating No Look Hooks the whole time and STILL banked 8 rounds. To the point Angel had no excuses and just blamed his son; no robbery screamed. When's the last time you saw such a thing? And Spence's body assault was brutal - I had respeck for Swift for not going down.

Dude goes back in there and literally breaks Yordenis Ugas down like I've never seen a man broken down before. The same Ugas that Porter mightily struggled with, the same Ugas that retired Manny Pacquiao. And that was after a year-and-a-half layoff with no "get back" fight.

If anything, it feels like Spence's style is what preserves him. He starts out slow on purpose, no wasted energy, no wasted movement, targeted body attacks every so often, then he starts ramping up in the late rounds and if needed, he'll go to war and walk you down with more body work. Porter was landing flush on the chin all night long and never once moved the guy, never once hurt him.

And...only one of these two directly called out the other in the ring.
