  • I want Crawford to fight Spence like he fought Viktor Postol

Don't engage, don't fight in the pocket, don't get in range. Just "run" (NSB) and do everything possible to avoid getting knocked out, like Mikey did.

I want to see if NSB calls Crawford a runner and a coward like they did Zorrilla?...or if they just say "he did what he had to do to win" like they said when Joshua refused to engage with Ruiz?

Or do they say that Crawford is no better than Karen Chukhadzian?

See, that's my anticipation: will NSB once again show hypocrisy in how they react IF Crawford chooses to box smart rather than engage? Especially after so much knockout talk?

Because Spence has only ever needed to cut the ring off against Mikey, Algieri, Van Heerden and Brook. And all of those were dominant wins,3 of 4 by stoppage.

Which seems to indicate that Crawford's best chance is to engage, not box, and hope he's able to catch Spence with something he doesn't see coming his way.

Crawford fought Postol like he was scared.......imagine how he will run from Spence. He was backing up in the early rounds against Porter as well....he doesn't trust his chin.

That is his best strategy. I don't think he'll be disciplined enough to do it however

Errol has a very good long stick jab, if TC sits out there he might not get passed it and it's hard to use angles from a long way out, I feel TC has to engage Errol and use angles to land sniper shots, he cant sit at the end of Errols jab and he cant just walk in.

Yeah true TC loves to fight there is a lot of bulldog in both of them, I really love this match-up these two bring it.

Why care so much about the reaction of a boxing forum?

            Genuine question.

Lol back in the days when I was rooting for Crawford.

Postol was the last prime elite fighter (at the time) that Crawford fought. Hasn’t fought some one with Postol’s hype and physical prime ever since.

To reply to the thread specifically, Crawford can’t fight Spence like he fought Postol because Spence isn’t Postol. Spence will fight Crawford with a way different style than Postol.

Spence might look way better than Postol, or worse. Who knows which Spence will show up. He fought once in 2020, once in 2022, and now 15 months later will fight once in 2023. Spence is a wildcard. I am leaning towards him though, reluctantly.

Bud doesn't really move on his feet like that no more and sits down on his shots more, and basically has fallen in love with his power.
