Jake only fights cage fighters who are 20 pounds smaller than him and nearing 40.

Jake has been "fighting" for 5 years now and never once fought a larger man...... he never takes that fight against a natural heavyweight who isnt shot. cage fighter or not.

Give me a break. All those guys were way older and smaller than him, and with all kinds of limitations on them to boot. Many weren't even strikers. There's a not inconsiderable chance that they were contractually obliged to lose. After all, they were making more in one fight than they did in their whole UFC careers.

You're in theory learning how to fight yourself right?

What are the basics? How about what you do with your hand after you throw a power shot? Look at where his hands are after his shots.

Where do you go on your exit? Do you pull back and leave your head right where it was? Which slot is his head in every time?

I'm not even going to talk about more advanced things like setting up your shot, etc, feinting, rhythm, angles, etc. Just the bare basics of being even a little bit defensively responsible. He's got a decent chin at least, because he's gotten caught flush in basically every fight. He's maybe got some talent, but he's a beginner when it comes to skill.

Ngannou is probably the equivalent of a fringe top 30ish level actual HW boxer imo. In other words, he'd stop Jake in the first round.
