Well I can't recall everyone who's promoted by Top Rank, Goosen, etc. but I do agree the prospects should be on Boxing After Dark not WCB...

I don't see why Arum can't do business with Golden Boy...unless him and Oscar still have a problem...

They also made the mistake of overpaying some of these prospects as well...

If GBP knows there fighters can get on HBO and make big money and get exposure there gonna go for it...

And if Bob Arum cared about good matchups he wouldn't be putting Chavez Jr in there wit nobody after nobody building him a padded record...

With all die respect this is more about HBO. HBO is not a promotional company yet is acting like one. They should demand the best match ups no questions asked.

quality reading and Hauser's overall theme is good.

Greenberg is in dire straits and I doubt he lasts 2010. He basically allowed HBO to outbid .......HBO over fighters promoters and shows. They upped the bidding to the point where Berto now demands high 6 figures

No, GBP used the power of Oscar's fights to pin HBO down and make them commit. Greenberg was scared to death he was going to miss out on an Oscar fight so he bit.

I am not defending Arum. I am condemning HBO. If HBO demanded A list vs. A list fights and held out until the promoters gave in...they would get them.
