        1. Pacquiao didn't know how to fight when someone was pressuring him back
        2. At the time Pacquiao didn't use his right hook that much

        Morales was able to have one more great fight to bad he didn't retire after

          jab and chin, pretty much.............and prime morales' chin and overall toughness were unbreakable.......thats why prime terrible always beats pac imo......pac usuallly shy's away from the heat when he gets hit back........

            Dony you guys remember that morales couldnt make that weight again? the only way to fight the second and third time was for morales to make a weight he could no longer make. sound familiar? seems like they will only fight if the other fighter is weight drained. but poeple will try to make weight for millions wouldnt you?

              You're all kidding yourselves if you don't think the gloves played a role. It was completely different when Morales started getting hit with Reyes gloves as opposed to the pillows they put on him for the first fight.

              The gloves makes a world of difference. Anyone who has followed boxing knows this. That's why there are huge arguments over gloves in every fight contract nowadays. It's why Oscar makes his opponents wear certain gloves like he did with Mayweather. The gloves matter.

                  Yeah i see the footwork improvement and I think expanding his offense has given him an advantage against defending the counter... I can roll with that. Oh and yeah he's head and shoulders way above what he was when getting knocked out by those no-namers in the 90's thats definately a fact. I still have only seen him really effective when moving forward though. Have yall noticed he used that same left hook while ducking a punch that he clocked hatton with on marquez?

                    The thing that I've been most impressed with is his improvement on defense. He is not a defensive wizard but he now ties up on the inside, immediately gets off the ropes and turns his body to face the opponent, he bobs and weaves and keeps his gloves up more than he did in the past. He has improved a bunch I think as far as boxing technique goes (I'm not a boxer so my opinion counts for shiet) with the way he uses counters and movement.

                      On Pacquiao

                      1. The Gloves - To some fighters it doesnt mean much but it means a lot to Manny maybe Psychologically. Its a sure thing Manny is a better fighter wearing Reyes

                      2. The right hooks is non existent

                      3. 1st fight @130 Manny Looks smaller than Erik

                      4. Nasty Cut

                      on Erik

                      1. Very much prepared for this fight because of the lost to his rival Barrera

                      2. Erik's last great fight. though arguably he still won againts Diaz

                      =====

                      No matter what we say Erik beat Pacquiao that night 115-113.
