Haney did well early with a few body shots. But around halfway through the round, Loma landed the left hand. Then he landed a combination on Haney. Then he got him against the ropes and landed three clean power shots to the head. And then he landed some clean letft hands afterwards. Their jab connects were similar. But if Haney lands 7 or 8 power shots and Loma lands 13 or 14 flush power shots, seems pretty clear who won the round. Haney may have had more individual moments. But he was landing one at a time while Lomachenko landed in combination. That limited how many punches Haney landed. So one combination of three clean shots erases much of Haney's work.

2 was definitely a clear Lomachenko round. The one sequence in the second half of the round where he had Haney in the corner and landed around 8 or 9 punches was enough to basically erase all the body shots Haney landed in the first half of the round. Add in the two other combinations later on and Loma outlanded Haney dramatically in that round. Thus clearly winning it.

Simple question: how many punches did you see Haney land in 2 and 3?

Just for arguments sake I just rewatched Round 3 alone as that was a round I had marked down as either way.

How could you possibly argue that Lomacheko clearly won that round? What are you watching that makes that a clear round to you?

Do you not count body shots or jabs?

Haney has more than an argument for winning that round and I think almost anyone would agree with that, even Lomachenko's most avid of fans.

So that makes your position incorrect from the off. That's without the fact that 2, 7 and 8 weren't clear rounds either.

i watched round 3 again and it was somewhat close but loma won it for me. loma even had the better body shots in the round as well as the more solid head shots. most of haney's body shots were partially blocked and some of his head shots were cuffing punches. loma seemed to land more overall clean shots although i didnt count admittedly. not a domination but if anyone won it then it has to be loma

You feel way too strongly about fans having Lomachenko winning. You reply to every post about it, every thread about it. My past couple of threads about the topic have literally been to annoy you.
