Beterbiev is a great fight but Bivol and Beterbiev has priority if Alvarez was to go the Benavidez route. Even if the WBC doesn’t want to sanction the fight they should go ahead and make the fight happen, they are the top two fighters at 175 and they need to clear the air to see who’s number one

Except Arum has already said he won't make the fight with Bivol, no matter what the boxers want. So that fight isn't happening.

He WOULD make a fight with Canelo because money, and that fight could have the WBC on the line. If Canelo could somehow win that, he'd have the belts that Bivol wants and could have his rematch at 175. He could even probably talk that snake Sulaiman into "making an exception" because no way does Sulaiman want Canelo fighting without getting his sanctioning fee.
