"A sanctioning body that fights for peace, for justice against abuse of power".. The last part of the statement "abuse of power" fully describes the WBC as it stands today under this corrupt pig.

Wbc - has an issue with a person who has nothing to do with the war, being from the country initiating the war.

Wbc - has little to no issue granting titles and title shots (both real and created belts) to boxers who take banned substances and use loaded wraps in fights, as long as they’re from the same country that the Wbc represents.

So what happens if Russia carpet bombs Kiev and ends the war tomorrow? Now can Bivol fight for the WBC strap?

So fuck it, make the fight without We Be Crooks' belt and it'd still decide who's #1 at LHW. Say Bivol won, but didn't win that title, surely he'd still be universally considered undisputed champ? Haney/Lopez/Lomachenko was muddy with that whole Franchise/not undisputed thing, but this wouldn't be the same.

You can be at odds with the country's political position but not to its people.

Sulaiman you piece of excrement - it didn't stop you sanctioning the Bivol Canelo fight in May 2022 when the US and all western governments had already been implementing sanctions against Russia and Russians since February 2022.
