I was looking forward more to floyd vs maidana, thurman vs garcia, thurman vs porter, spence vs brook, maidana vs broner and probably some more.

True and, bad for boxing fans, it ushered in the Mayweather "Let It Marinate" technique.
      Often imitated but never duplicated.

Big misconception that age always equates to being prime or not. Wilfred Benitez was way past his prime by age 25 and he's a HOF

Like the Pac/Floyd fight, this should have been made 3-4 years ago.

Yes, a record number of folks viewed the fight, and it killed at the gate......this was a pop culture event

From the standpoint of true boxing fans: while we were curious to see who would win, this fight was way late. You can't say this about Spence VS Crawford. They are still fighting at a right aligned time.

It's a big matchup no doubt, but I think it's an exaggeration to call it the biggest of the last twenty years.

That is, if you look closely who they really beat, not taking anything away from their talent.

This fight could have happened years ago but Crawford traded both his passion for the game, legacy and glory for money. Which was why he kept signing with Top Rank after he knew there was no competition over there at welterweight.

His quickest route to an Errol Spence fight would have been to sign up with the PBC who held all the cards at 147 but Terence doesn't like fighting top opposition.

Spence's team working hard with the spin for this fight after obviously trying to age out Crawford. If Crawford can still show his best, Spence is truly in for an ass whooping.

Yes they are, prime is not all about youth, its the maturity of a skillset with the body operating at 100%, prime is a rise of these things, then a plateau, and then a drop-off, both these guys are still on that prime plateau, and because of the scope of this fight both will train like demons, its a great fight.
