Wins over Bradley, Vargas, Matthysse, Horn, Broner, and Thurman that came after his loss to Floyd indicates he had quite a bit left in the tank. He def wasn’t prime, but still world class, as evidenced by him coming back to win two more titles.
Spence and Crawford are closet to their primes, but Floyd and Manny were still the best 2 boxers in the sport.
This is definitely the best fight since then, but its 2 consensus top 5 p4p guys, not the 2 best.
Imo its more like Hagler V Hearns than Duran v Ray or Floyd v Manny.
Please man this is way better than Floyd vs Manny on paper. Depending on the outcome it can rival a Duran vs. Ray, or Ray vs. Hearns rivalry, if we get an all out war like Hagler vs. Hearns, it would top any Floyd snoozefest we were subject to.
