Teo proved me wrong big time, i thought he was done, i thought he burned out too fast like Tyson and many other once young promising fighters. i think conditioning and adjustments were what won him the fight, he looked a bit lost early, but he made adjustments like shortnening his right hand instead of the wild looping shots he was trying to force, and bending at the waist under the left of Taylor. Taylor was trying the same thing over and over and Teo was countering his shots late and also leading successfully. Taylor slowed down in the last 3 rounds and Teo really picked up and finished the show. 115-113 was a good score.

I want to see the rematch with Kambosos or him vs Prograis or Haney or the winner of Rolly vs Garcia, but i need that Kambosos rematch the most, i feel like there was unfinished business there.

Wow, my late prediction was correct. Well done Teofimo, excellent victory.

He seemed calm in the days before the fight, so when he's in a good headspace, he's formidable.

The Tartan with the so called brave heart mentality broke down during this fight, he froze in the spot light and looked like a lost sheep, the audacity and the delusion of him calling out a a scorecard after the the kilted judges tampered the scoring vs Catterall.

What I loved about this fight, Teo stayed disciplined. Regis could learn a bit from this fight. I rock with Regis heavy but too many fighters try to beat opponents at there opponents game. Regis tried to out Taylor Taylor instead of just being Regis and lost.
I love Spence but he did the same thing with Porter and almost bottled it.

Teo made Taylor look Euro level. I’m confused how he beat Prograis. I have to watch that back again. I know Regis had no plan but wow Taylor look average.
Agreed. Teo has physical gifts that can't be taught. Dude is naturally fast and powerful. If his mental focus is there like you said there's not a lot of fighters beating him..

The real winner is Teo's mental health. He shone last night

For one, I saw it coming and posted about it here several times. But 115-113? Twice? The judges were just about all set to pull a Haney-Lomachenko.

You’re right, but technically him and Taylor should’ve been when Teo beat them. They never lost their titles, it was stripped.

Nice fight. Both guys had their moments but right guy won. I'm not too caught up in the 7-5 cards. I thought the 9-3 cards that ESPN were showing were a bit wide as I thought Taylor was more in control through 4 rounds. Lot of good options for both fighters around this class going forward.

Yes Taylor caught Lopez with some good flushshots in the first 8-9 rounds and cut and bruised Teo's face up quite a bit. But it had little impact on Teo. Teo's chin is much stronger at 140 then I thought.

Congratulations to Teofimo Lopez on his victory. He looked absolutely amazing tonight! This has to rank up there as one of his overall better performances. So stay focused and relaxed champ. You have a very bright future ahead of you.
