You missed my point entirely - I'm not just talking about fighters vs Lopez, I'm talking about many exciting fights in the division with a number of guys.

I’ll be honest I thought the same

          Thought Taylor would overwhelm him

This is why boxings great though , you can try and predict stuff but if a guy wants it more on the night he takes it .

Good to see some decent matchups getting made

How long has Teo been using the cross-guard? I haven't read much of this thread, or any others regarding the fight, but it was cool to watch some creative old-school defence you don't often see anymore.

Sr said Teo "gordo" nickname from his Amateur days would box people ears off. I've seen these skills Teo showed from the Loma fight already but seems like ppl chose to ignore his skills.

              They can't ignore them anymore.

Same reason Taylor didn’t wanna fight Matias, he knew same fate was going to happen to him and all the champions at 140… congratz Teo.

Teo seems to shine when he's the underdog. Commey, Loma and now Taylor.

For those making excuses that Taylor should've moved up a long time ago, stop it. Taylor isn't doing anything at 147 - he would maybe be in the middle of the pack but definitely not at the top. Way too much talent there!

Congratulations to Teofimo who made it look easy and just played with his food all night!

When Teo gets in a rhythm I don’t think too many can beat him.
What I loved about this fight, Teo stayed disciplined. Regis could learn a bit from this fight. I rock with Regis heavy but too many fighters try to beat opponents at there opponents game. Regis tried to out Taylor Taylor instead of just being Regis and lost.
I love Spence but he did the same thing with Porter and almost bottled it.

Teo made Taylor look Euro level. I’m confused how he beat Prograis. I have to watch that back again. I know Regis had no plan but wow Taylor look average.

Yea the Lee comment threw me all the way off. That dude is no wear near ready.

I like Matias a lot but I think this Teo wins. Matias is a pressure fighter but not one punch knockout fighter, he accumulating damage and breaks down opponents. Matias also get hit a lot! I’m curious to see him in there with somebody with real pop.
