Not nearly as overrated as Arturo Gatti who made it into the HOF!!
Did Carl Froch not make it in as well!?!
    Just saying.

Moreover the first fight against Manuel Marquez wasn't a draw, Pacquiao won that fight as well, scoring 3 knockdowns in the process.
I hated seeing Pacquiao getting cheated in those fights, he was a special fighter, and one of the greatest fighters in the annuals of boxing's history.

Now back to subject of this post, although Tim Bradley was a hell of a fighter in his day, but he's not an unbiased commentator.
He doesn't always call the fight the way it's actually taking place in the ring, and for that very reason he shouldn't be a commentator.

Teofimo Lopez should be concentrating on his up coming fight against Josh Taylor, who I believe is going to put a serious hurting on him on Saturday.
Criticizing Tim Bradley, and Andre Ward, isn't going to help Teofimo Lopez Jr., one iota before, during, or after his fight against Josh Taylor.
Could not have said it any better.
Hope he and his team realize his career is on the line and Josh a career 140 pounder is no joke.

I loved both Ward and Bradley as fighters but they are absolute trash as commentators.

I see a lot of people don't think Bradley is deserving of his hall of fame induction but I believe he is.

Is Bradley the worst fighter in the hall of fame? No. Is the least accomplished resume or accolades wise? No.

Although, I agree there are more deserving fighters particularly international and lower weight class boxers, that are routinely overlooked.

Definitely agree with Teo on this. Bradley is HOF depending on who you ask. I think ward isn't hof material either honestly.

all three of these people talk too much.
the problem is, only 2 of them get paid to talk now.
              roles. know them. do them.

Exactly, Gatti being in the HOF is an absolute disgrace. Bradley had a HOF career just by that guys he beat at 140.

I mean he's not wrong.. Bradley can be biased when commentating. Ward I feel is more fair and calls it how it is..

But all commentators will have biases.. That Mexican dude is easily the most biased one when calling fights

To even know Tim Bradley career, Bradley not being some huge star nullifies the causal chat.

I respect the Devon Alexander win, I believe that was Devon first L and he went on to beat Maidana and Lucas M(questionable AF) right after.
Sidenote Devon did lose to Ivan Redkach(later 2019), Aaron Martinez and a handful of others shortly after those two wins. The Khan lost aged ok. Devon came up short once competition went up.
I also respect the Lamont Peterson win always respected Peterson thought he was a dog.

Takes me to the interesting case of Ruslan fight. I could be on the minority side but Bradley was getting rocked that fight I legit thought Ruslan won. I remember screaming at the screen. Bradley is one of the fighters seems like he would have pop but could stop you with a traffic cop. Ruslan combos were heavy still can’t believe he got a UD.

There’s the Witten fight but he lost to everybody he stepped up too. I remember that being something but definitely didn’t age well.
JMM fight wasn’t the JMM we knew he’s wasn’t as consistent like the PAC fights.

To me that’s just doesn’t warrant HOF status.

Now Ward to me was a just a little overrated as well but I think he deserves HOF. I don’t care what nobodies say he lost first Kolavev fight.

They're SUPPOSED to be biased my guy.

ESPN has them take opposite positions, be dramatic, overreact to one guy or the other's success, argue etc. Just like Skip and Stephen A Smith.

I don't know where everyone gets this idea that commentary is supposed to be unbiased - ESPN has made no such commitment to that style of broadcasting.
