He is the least experienced fighter in the tournament. He has quick hands, but not much power and terrible footwork. It isnt hard to see why.

I'm very surprised that Abraham is the #2 pick... he's a middleweight, and we aren't sure what he is capable of at 168... if he brings his power up, that ranking will be justified.
I don't understand how Taylor can be 4th... He has lost his last few big fights, and seems to be on the downside of his career.
Dirrell is the least experienced, and probably is not the best in the tournament, but I think he has a very favorable draw in the prelims... Froch, Abraham and Ward are fights he can win. I think he'll beat Froch, because Froch is pretty damn ordinary to my eyes. He could beat Abraham if he could avoid getting his chin checked (and that's a really big IF). The Ward fight is interesting to me... it's always hard to predict how two slick fighters will match up; who's offense can overcome the other's superb defense?
I'm so excited for the first round of the prelims to kick off...Comment

Dirrell is NOTHING like lacy. Jeff was a bum from the start and real fight fans NEVER brought into the hype. Dirrell will march through this tournament undefeated. Mark my words. He will beat AA and Froch easily. AA is too slow and doesnt throw enuff punches. also his footwork isnt good at all. Ward will be his toughest fight. Given that he OWN ward in the amatuers(the reason that ward fought the 2004 Olympics at 178), im thinking that Dirrell will have a great amt confindence going into this fight.Last edited by tjose385; 09-30-2009, 04:05 PM.Comment

Met Dirrell at the Mayweather fight and he was the coolest guy ever. I told him" Man you can pound Froch, he keeps his hands low all the time" Dirrel "says I know, im gonna beat his ass!!" I cant wait, 2 more weeks and Froch is going down.Comment
