This is definitely a hard pick with all the variables and different fighting styles, but if I had to make one, I would bet on Kessler. I think he has the overall boxing skills to be able to overcome what everyone else brings. I would think the only two fighters who could beat him would be Dirrell or Ward and we will find out half that answer right away. I just think Froch would be too slow, Taylor fades in his fights and Abraham is a natural middleweight.

Bottom line: At least with all these fights almost completely guaranteed to happen, we will know the answer when everything is said and done...

A lot of people are citing Dirrell's thin resume' as the reason for picking against him in the upcoming tournament...I'm pulling for JT as a sentimental pick, but I think Dirrell has a chance to build his credentials in a big way against a field that isnt' isn't really fast and definately ain't too slick (except for Ward). I can't say Dirrell will win the whole thing, but I think he opens a lot of eyes with a 3-D performance against the plodding, yet capable Froch.

Dirrell is the wild card in this tourney. He has the skill, athleticism and yes the power (to at least get respect from his opponents) to win this tourney. But his experience is a definite weakness. However, we will learn everything we need to about Dirrell in the Froch fight. If Andre has any shortcomings in heart, chin, or stamina; Froch will exploit that. Carl might be limited skillwise, but he has all the tools to overcome better fighters than him if they lack what he has an abundance of, and that's heart, determination, courage, and a solid chin. Froch WILL make Dirrell answer these questions and that's why this is my favorite fight n the 1st round. As for my favorite for the tourney, it's definitely Kessler and I have Taylor as the least likely to win a fight let alone the tournament.

It's only natural that Direll is concidered to come i last, he is the least experienced of that bunch.

Don't count JT out, I have a feeling his back is to the wall and he knows it and is gonna fight for his life in there and if he gets out the first round he is gonna be a problem.
