Yes it has been discussed and I'm in no way gonna read all that BS you typed trying to make excuses for the privileged little dwarf Loma so you just wasted you're time with that.
It's been broken down repeatedly in the past. Loma chose not to throw punches. He threw a tiny fraction of his usual numbers of jabs, resulting in lower overall punch output. The guy had surgery the next day. That's a far cry from Wilder's nonsense after Fury 2.
When someone is shutting down another's offense, you see high output from them and you certainly don't see the other person take over in late rounds and start putting it to them. And you certainly don't get dethroned by a 30-1 underdog mandatory. Watch Inoue v Paul Butler if you want to see what it looks like when a more skilled power puncher shuts down another's offense and makes them not want to punch. Or any of the No Más Chenko fights for that matter. In none of those fights did the guy who was "afraid to punch" take over in later rounds. That's just the more recent examples. You always hear the commentators talk about how someone just needs to start punching and try to get that puncher's chance when someone is shutting down offense, and you NEVER see it happen. And EVEN if it did happen, you'd see it turn into a close fight. Loma finished that fight with nearly a 44% connect rate compared to 27.8% for Lopez, and 66% of those were power punches. He's historically been way more jab heavy, and rounds 8-11 he doubled his jab output compared to any of the previous rounds. That's the behavior of a guy who's decided to take it off cruise control, not someone getting outclassed.
And a fighter who is skilled enough to shut Loma down and "make" him not throw punches with his lead should CERTAINLY be able to easily handle the competition he's had since, and not look like crap. The issue is that "Lopez is a maestro talent who made Loma look easy" isn't supported by any of the evidence. It's a false narrative that made him think he was more than he was, and he's done nothing to demonstrate a high level of skill since. Not. One. Fight.
He has a lot of talent, so he really could become more, but he needs to pull his head out and see things straight. So should the people who think he outskilled Loma, because he flat didn't. I expect another flat performance from him against Taylor. He's going to come out just like he did against Kambosos, Martin, etc, and try to take Taylor's head off. And Taylor is probably going to walk him into stuff all night long.
So in a nutshell Lopez shut down everything Loma wanted to do....plain simple and easy. So like I said Lopez whooped him easy. Facts.Comment

But you guys say that close fights have to go to champs.
So, yes, if the fight is close, Taylor has to win.Comment

Teo and Taylor already got hooked up by Bob to even make this fight possible because imo they both lost their last fights.
Bob cant lose here. Win or lose, both guys have marketable fights after.
Anyone else feel this looks like Bob is trying to set up one of his fake trilogies?Comment

IMO also Haney lost his last fight, but what can I do? Nothing, Haney and Taylor are both still champs.Teo and Taylor already got hooked up by Bob to even make this fight possible because imo they both lost their last fights.

Haney is not with TR anymore. His last fight was Loma.
Teo and Taylor are still with TR and their top guys from 140-154. They were slated to fight had they won. There was incentive for Bob to pull a fast one.Comment
