They offered Taylor pay, low pay, like he only had one title, but they wanted sanction fees for all four. He resents that and all this is an understandable reaction. In a sense, well founded. Instead of waiting for unified and thinning the herd in the process, they get participation rewards titles.

I'm not interested in Taylor as a human, just as a boxer. He had to kick some serious ass to amass those titles. These guys are beating much lesser lights for his scraps. I can understand his predicament. He's white? Among other white people, that's no advantage. In the ring? Might as well have a target on your back.

If he beats Teo, wont mean a damn thing imo because Teo lost to Sandor Martin.

The winner should be the mando contender for the right to fight the winner of Catterall v Martin for the undisputed title.
Taylor beat Catterall, just like Haney beat Lomachenko.

Taylor was the legitimate man in this division. The combination of the narrowest of wins against Caterall and (more importantly in my eyes) lack of activity has undermined this position to the point that I'm not sure his claim is true any longer. He let the belts fragment by not getting in the ring.

Why not fight the winner of Crawford-Spence?

Because the winner is moving up.

Im not a Haney fan by any means at all and think he should run it back with Loma, but the fact is he has all the belts....and 2ndary titles dont mean sh.it.

And you know that for sure. He can always fight the loser.
