  • Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor: I'm Still King, Top Dog In 140 Division; Other Lads Have My Belts, Never Lost Them

Josh Taylor still considers himself boxing's undisputed 140-pound champion. The Scottish southpaw relinquished three of his four titles after defending each of those belts against Jack Catterall 15 months ago, but Taylor can't see how any of the other champions in his division could claim he is not the man to beat in

Very debatable for in my eyes you lost to Regis and in most folks eyes you lost to Jack Caterall. most people don't think Caterall is a best more so a style makes fights fight which is why you ain't want the rematch smoke. In my eye Regis is 1

Technically that is true but not in a practical sense. A great champion defends often and definitively. You may be a king but you only have one ***el left in the entire kingdom, time to regain some wealth and clean up if you still can....Matais and Regis are on deck

He already unified against Regis. It's nothing for him at 140.

If he beats teofimo. It's time to go to 147 and fight for the vacant wbo belt that bud vs spence winner is gonna leave behind.

This is delusional. Imo he got a Bob special against Catterall. Taylor is no champion.

If he beats Teo, wont mean a damn thing imo because Teo lost to Sandor Martin.

The winner should be the mando contender for the right to fight the winner of Catterall v Martin for the undisputed title.

Regardless of people's opinions, hes still the man as hes never technically lost.
Just as Haney is the man at 135.

The only person in this division who should have a belt, all of them actually is Catterall.

Of all the sanctioning bodies who would of thought the wbc would have the top guys fight for the belt. Ibf usually has weak rankings but the wba one is absolutely ridiculous especially for crowning a champ. That al haymon money. Not to mention he had to pay Tony weeks
