Warrens really going to ruin his reputation permanently with this crap ,not even casual fans are buying into it at this point and understand it was Fury out pricing himself out the Saudi undisputed fight making it difficult by putting a money hedge that the fight wasn’t going to cover . So no ,it is not Usyk looking for ridiculous demands of money that’s Fury . Warren himself said the fight never happened because Tyson wants what he THINKS he’s worth so he doesn’t blame Fury for seeking the most money he can get .

I can’t wait till these guys are run out of boxing because that will eventually happen and pretty soon unless Fury leaves within 2 years , Frank and company going to sink fast with this guy . Lol

This was one of the worst boxing "discussions" I've ever had the misfortune of listening too! A non stop diatribe of angry, spluttery bullshit from Frank Warren in full Bricktop mode, with none of the other 3 participants having the balls or the gumption to contradict the crap he was coming out with.

Gareth A Davies interrupted Frank once, not because he had anything worthwhile to say, but because he is one of those guys who gets uncomfortable if he goes for longer than a minute without hearing the sound of his own voice. And I felt embarrassed for Gareth when Frank angrily told him to stop interrupting and listen to someone who actually knew what he was talking about, and Gareth meekly bowed his head and said, "Ok Frank, thank you."

"Thank you" ... for slapping me down in public like a naughty schoolboy ... really, Gareth?

And then. like every Tyson Fury related discussion I've seen at TalkSport, it ended with everybody gravely nodding their heads and agreeing that, whatever anybody says about Tyson Fury, he is a fantastic fighter, a larger than life character and, without any doubt, the best heavyweight of his generation. It's the exact same split that Usyk got for his 2 fights with AJ, and Usyk didn't have any belts at HW when that deal was negotiated.

Its also a better deal than Usyk took for AJ with 20-80 and 50-50.

No, it isn't. See my comment above. The Usyk vs AJ splits were 70/30 to AJ in the first fight and 50/50 in the rematch. This was verified by Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren quoted the same figures in a recent interview.

As a WBO mandatory challenger fighting in the champions home country, Usyk was entitled to 25% if the fight went to a purse bid. Why the heck would he have accepted less than he was entitled to and agreed to give AJ a rematch clause?

Usyk's promoter is Alex Krassyuk, who has probably the best reputation for straight talking of any promoter in the game.

I think Warren is a good character for the sport but in the end like Fury makes it impossible to actually like the guy . Let’s be honest watching Hearn get under this guys skin is way more entertaining then Warrens own fight cards , watching everyone that interviews him also looking nervous if they say so something wrong is almost equally entertaining.

Did you see this talk sport interview the article refers to ? Those guys looked like they had guns on them with Franks call in and even congratulated him for explaining “ nothing “ ?
