I'd like to see him fighting Beterbiev like he did vs Bauderlique. He looked more dangerous, not as upright, he might have something to offer in this fight. I was going in with low expectations at first, but I liked his last fight once I went back to watch. It's wasn't pretty, but just go for it, dont get the weight leaning back, otherwise he will get wrecked. McGirt is not going to like how that is looking, Smith has to always be showing something to him if that becomes the look of the fight.

I think Smith did a good job of listening to Mcgirt in between rounds and as the fight wsa going on too, I liked that, showing trust to the gameplan

Sorry for all those calling double standard on Canelo’s beatdown of Smith and this. This is only fight hype and Smith is absolutely not the best boxer Beterbiev has faced. That would be Gvosdyk. Beterbiev has a few names on his resume that would hurt Smith, who was bashed pillar to post by Canelo at 168 and has done nothing at 175 to even deserve this fight.

Why, who would you put forward as a tougher fight for him?
Gvozdyk was trickier and Brown was harder. Yarde never really hurt him, or he would have changed strategy. it's just that Beterbiev is so confident, he just come forward without much apprehension, thus he will always get hit some.

I don't care what they say about Smith struggling to make 168. He let a Mexican Leprechaun beat him from pillar to post. I'd be amazed if he does anything against Beterbiev.

Being trickier doesn't mean it was tough. Yarde hurt Beterbiev and made him very aware that he had to be careful otherwise he could be taken out. Go and look at his reaction after the fight. Did you see him ever doing that for any other? No, because they didn't come close to pushing him that far. Beterbiev was grateful for the win and knew he'd been in a war.

Browne? Are you kidding me? Just because he got cut it doesn't make it a hard fight. Browne ran away and then quit after getting a beating.

As for Beterbiev coming forward without much apprehension... Not against Yarde he didn't. He backed off more times than i can remember to get away from the punches and to catch his breath. Sorry, but we're watching a different fight here. A very different fight.

callum was walked down all night and ran from Canelo

Callum has basically 2 options with beterbiev

                  1. get KTFO

                  2. run all night and MAYBE get a mini victory of going 12 with Beterbiev while losing every round

Yarde even admitted in the post fight that Artur played hurt to set the trap. Every time Artur got "wobbled" 5 seconds later Yarde was thrown into the corner and getting beaten on.
