Canelo is the biggest star in boxing. Yes there is some negotiation but he brings the money not anyone else. If you cry too much then you risk losing it all

He loses to both Benny and Bivol
Bivol sadly is still not a big draw nor does he bring much money to the table, even after beating Canelo. So he can’t demand that much.

He only had a $500,000 guarantee for his last bout against Zurdo. By comparison John Ryder just got a $1 million guarantee

I do, however, think it’s quite reasonable for Bivol to ask for better terms than he got in the first fight. That’s only fair.

First off: Do NOT tease me with the unification fight with Beterbiev. Either mean it and make it happen, or keep the fighters name out of your mouth and do not try to use it as a ploy to get Alvarez to come off more money. My fandom can only take so much.

Secondly: By now it is obvious that Alvarez will not accept a fight at 168. My advice? Take the rematch at 175 for slightly better cash and beat him again. It is good money. Force them to walk away, not you and your fighter.

The issue with both fights for Bivol is the WBC. They won't sanction any fight with their belt at stake for Bivol because he's Russian. They should call the bluff though and have Beterbiev and Bivol fight without the WBC belt at stake. Canelo needs to fight Benavidez.

This right here. Watch the fanboys make excuses for Canelo.

First fight Canelo made 15m guaranteed plus 70% revenue overall 40-50m while Bivol made 2m and 30% revenue. Payments held up and overall would've been 10m max based upon Canelos overall 40-50m Canelo lost by UD not even close. If he wants a rematch either make it 168 at similar terms yet 3m& 40% revenue Bivol. If want another crack at 175 where you lost fairly make it 10m plus 55% Canelo 7m 45% Bivol if not then Canelo is dodging him and should face Benavidez if Canelo dodges that fight then he's not taking risk.i know he's not facing Morrell jr If Bivol doesn't get nelo next he should face Beterbiev in the middle east. Canelo should save face and fight Charlo next it's a name he's coming off a layoff untested at 168 and would bring eyes because a lot of people want to see Charlo get beat up that's 300k buys itself this fight does 800k-1m 500k Canelo fans 300k wanna see Charlo get beat down n shut up 200k PBC haymon die hards the same ones giving tank n Spence there 200k-300k buys on avg. Charlo a b.. dodged GGG Daniel Jacobs Andrade back then at 160 and now Janibek and Adamas at 160 ain't fought a soul at 168 doesn't want the Morrell Jr or Benavidez smoke (all on PBC so wtf easy to make)
