Very very possible. We could only speculate really, but there is a chance on whatever level that Spence would also approach Crawford cautiously as he's easily the hardest puncher he's met.. and the same for Crawford.. so a cautious boxing match would benefit Crawford's style and pace. He should make a statement early to make Spence honest and a bit hesitant to steam roll him. If he fails to do that and allow Spence to produce more and more momentum in each round then he's gonna be in deep trouble.

Crawford is too confident with his power to fight fire with fire though, I think he should take a page out of Floyd's hand book instead on this one. Punch spence in the nose in round one then make him box into a chess match and capitalize on his mistake.

Too many questions about Spence going into this one for me. I'm not trying to discredit Crawford I just have no real idea where Spence is at.
The inactivity, the injuries, can he even still make the weight and safely?

Spence has slightly better fundamentals and the engine but many felt that about Postol and look how easy that turned out to be.
For me Crawfords got the better ring I.Q, defence, athleticism, a little more spite, I have to favour him, possibly by stoppage.
There are a few tendencies I see in Spence also, I've seen several lesser fighters exploit. I've seen him get clipped a bag of times with the same shot throughout his career and it just so happens to be a trademark counter of Crawfords.

The reason what Bud was able to do against Porter, by countering and controlling the distance, won't work against Spence is because Spence is coming in with a heavy and effective jab. But won't be able to get in a rhythm.

Also, look at the history of Buds fights. His workrate is average, he gets hit a lot and punch landed comparison is relatively even against his opponents before he explodes and finishes them
