I don't think so. You either are watching because you know the work Errol and Crawford have put in throughout the years, or you're simply a UFC fan. I didn't know they were putting on a card that night, but knowing that, this young dude at my job will definitely be tuning in for it considering he didn't know who Errol or Crawford was. He's a hardcore UFC fan though.

I think if you're into both sports, the smart viewer would pick Errol - Crawford over whatever UFC puts out because it is a match that has been well overdue and asked for to death. They're both undefeated and both haven't looked like they've lost a beat yet. It should be more intriguing to watch than anything UFC can conjure that night.

That said, if you're not really a UFC or boxing fan, I think the buildup to Errol - Crawford will be enough to sway those folks over to watch the boxing fight over the UFC one. Though wtf do I know?

Steal the spotlight in terms of being a much more entertaining and value for money night of fights? probably.

Nah it'll definitely outdraw the UFC. If it was going up against Conor/Chandler or Jones/Stipe it'd be a different story but Dustin/Justin 2 doesnt have that kind of pull as a headliner even though the overall card is deep as well. I think Spence/Bud does around 800k and the UFC around 500k.

Entertainment value wise that night wont be competitive until the bell finally rings on Bud/Spence though. The UFC card has like 7 notable fights on it with fighters people are invested in, and will probably have crazy **** from start to finish.
