Roy Jones Jr. is not worried about fighting Bernard Hopkins in the first quarter of 2010. Jones won a decision over Hopkins in 1993 for the vacant IBF middleweight title. Last week he signed an agreement to fight Hopkins in a rematch 16-years in the making. He says beating Hopkins is nothing new, he beat him in 1993 with one hand. Jones has always claimed that he beat Hopkins with a hand injury. The only concern for Jones is the IBO cruiserweight title bout against champion Danny Green on December 2 in Sydney, Australia. Honestly...after the Calzaghe fight....Roy can't talk **** any more.....he has no more balls....they are hanging on the back of Joe's tailgate truck.....as much as I hate Calzaghe he effectively took Roy's **** talker card....Roy needs to shut his mouth keep it at that......

Used to really admire Jones, but after the Calzaghe fight - just lost respect!
Unfortunately, I don't see much action in this fight. One-because of B-Hop's increasing carefulness and two because of Jones' diminished abilities. I see Jones stalking around the ring trying to land his left hook and B-Hop employing just enough defense to keep the fight moving slowly along for an uneventful 12 rounds. Worth watching though just because of who it is.
Hopkins is going to make Roy Jones go into survival mode like Roy has always done against the elite opponents he's fought since getting sparked by Tarver. And anybody who calls Roy Jones a Cruserweight champ for beating Danny Green for an IBO crap strap need their head examined. And is the Jones-Hopkins fight taking place at Light Heavy or Cruiser? Somebody needs to clear that up for me.
