i respect roy but come on man, stop talkin about a fight that happened in 1993!! i mean damn the footage of that fight is damn near black and white, hopkins is way ahead of roy in terms of greatness..all roy fans say after he gets his ass beat is that "oh hes not in his prime" but he just demolished lacy and lacy wasnt in his prime either, lacy has been dead meat since calzaghe baptized him.

he fought guys like ajamu and hanshaw while bhop was fightin lions in winky and tarver and pavlik..
glen johnson makes him go to sleep, hopkins whoops johnson
tarver makes him go to sleep and whoops him, hopkins destroys tarver
calzaghe crucified him, calzaghe beat bhop on a razor thin controversial decision...get da fucck outta here, hopkins is goin to lay roy on his back, this time for good

i cant think of anyone else that has'nt been put in the 'ready to go' category against jones

like tyson rjj is a very capable knockout artist
um Tarver and Ruiz? Jones never came close to having them out. And he never even stunned Johnson. I don't think you've seen much of Roy's career to claim he had every opponent he faced ready to go.

how about Lou Del Valle? Jones never bothered him.

I don't think a lot of Roy's "fans" realize that he coasted through a lot of his career, fighting nobodies and still failing to put them away in 4-5 rounds like he should have.

Your ******ity is beyond words. If Lacy was in his prime then your comment would make sense!!!! As for your comments of Calslappy's greatness, I bet you think Burbick was a legend who 'destroyed' Ali. There is a reason why so many cowards like Calslappy avoided him in his prime: he would have killed em! At least B-Hop had the balls to do it once, even though he did shy away from doing it again time and time again. RJJ was a beast u dumb ****. B-Hop is a legend too for what he has done into his mid 40's. Roy has every right to talk about what he did in the 90's, just as B-Hop can boast about what he did in his 40's!!!!

I love this whole "beat him with one hand" **** that Roy spouts all the time about the Bernard fight.

Anybody who's even watched it saw Jones throwing the right hand as well as the left on multiple occasions.

Not as frequently as normal, so it was "limited" for Roy.

But it's still not "beating him with one hand", either.

Keep talking Roy ; January is on the horizon....

No matter what happens in January, he DID beat him with one hand and that's a fact!!!!!!! Therefore he can say it as many times as he likes, and even stick his tongue out if he so wishes! It may have no bearing on this fight and their current condtiion, but RJJ is using it as a psychological tool against B-Hop. This fight shouldn't have even been made, but Joe is too much of a ***** to be schooled by B-Hop again! Ironically, the old B-Hop has become as avoided as young RJJ was back in the days which is why he has run out of credibile, lucrative and willing opponents.

Roy Jones was avoided? Only by the paper champ foreign fighters like Calzaghe and DM. Everybody in the states wanted a piece of his ass.
