This is bubbling up nicely. It will be very fascinating to see what happens and how creatively Canelo ducks Benavidez. It looks like the lies have already started though. lol

Canelo should forget Bivol for now. That fight will be way better if he can cement his reign at 168. Clear out the division and then move up.

Anyone who doesn't think Benavidez poses a serious threat to Canelo is avoiding the truth. It's a winnable fight for Canelo but not a given win. I believe we would see the best possible version of David and a seriously likely win win for him. Canelo has waited too long and allowed Benavidez to mature and grow into a true monster.

I honestly thought he was about to get TKO'd. Dude was taking so much damage after the 7th or 8th round.

It looked like he was getting hurt badly. Was I the only one seeing this? A mans head can only take so many shots.

He has a good chin. But Benavidez or the other two Russians are too much for him at this point.

he cannot make 159 anymore and 168 and 175 is too dangerous.
My conspiracy theory says Bivol let him off the hook to make more money in a a rematch and then KO Canelo there.

If he’s too big for 160, and 168 is too dangerous then he’s just not as good as people claim.

Just make the Morrell Jr. fight already! It's obvious Canelo is all about Bivol!

Canelo hasn’t look dominant since his win over Plant. He was outclassed and frustrated by Bivol. He couldn’t put away an “older” GGG. And he wasn’t able to beat Ryder in dominant fashion as so many expected him to. Granted, Bivol is better than Canelo imo and GGG is still pretty solid even at 41. Ryder was also probably as motivated as he’ll ever be in the biggest fight of his life. So those fights were tough fights regardless. But, that doesn’t take away from the fact that Canelo hasn’t looked like Canelo since his win over Plant.

Canelo is half shot. He’s inching toward, what, 70 pro fights now?

I don’t know if he beats Benavidez or not, but it’s definitely winnable. He has no chance at beating Bivol.

Keep fighting and take your revenge on Bivol. Other fights are useless to put you in goat debate. Jab and combination w/cardio.
