There are several guys at 140 with the power to KO Haney, Prograis is one of them. If I were the Haney’s, i’d be looking at Ramirez, Catterall, Barboza, Zepeda or Martin. Basically the lesser punchers of the division.
Haney will only stay at 135 if Al/Floyd/Tank overpay him.

Did I read this correctly m-you want Haney to fight lesser comp when he moves to 140?

Sounds like he has gotten more realistic about his fees after the financial loss of the Lomachenko fight. I don’t imagine arum has anymore interest in losing money after the millions he lost on Crawford. Good fight with Rugaru but no one will see it and I imagine neither fighter will want small money. And if Hearn thinks he can make it back with PPV he’s dolally

If he fights Prograis he should get nothing but respect for choosing a very tough opponent.
There’s nothing respectable about Haney, the way he acts and the way he carries himself. He already had a bad first impression on fans with his email championship. And I don’t care about the circumstances surrounding that.

As a pro boxer, you gain respect for beating tough opponents, not getting gift decisions against them or winning by clinching and jabbing. Another way to get respect is by losing to the best in a very strong effort.

The way Haney boxes isn’t respectable.

He can choose to fight Oleksandr Usyk next for all I care. That’s not what makes me a fan of a fighter, just choosing tough opponents. He needs to either beat them with no controversy, or lose in a valiant effort.

At least Prograis doesn't lose to bums like Salido and cry babies like Teofimo and feather fisted, weight drained zombies like Haney.

Yeah, have to agree, all the guys at 140 are overrated. Haney beats Taylor, Prograis, and Ramirez but Teofimo would be a good 50-50 fight.

I can't complain, that's a good fight after the controversy.

At my age I can't help being very cynical about boxing and so I very much doubt that we can trust what Eddie Hearn says.

Hearn says Haney wants to fight Prograis so I'll prepare for a Haney vs Catterall or Ramirez fight.

Yet Loma is or was P4P and Regis has never been P4P. Loma (3) Division Champ, Unified at 135, while Regis is scare to leave th 140 division and waiting for 135 pounders to move up. Regis only 1 division and never unified. That's why he sign with Matchroom, to get 135 pounders Garcia and Haney.

Well make it happen! Prograis is the best title holder at 140 and the most risky one too.

He is a huge puncher. I would rather Haney stay at 135 and challenge Tank Davis for a cash out fight.

However, a fight with Rougarou is just as dangerous and risky as well but comes with a much lower reward.

Haney is saying just line them up and I’ll fight him. I couldn’t be more happy for him.

He’s finally getting the recognition that he deserves after years of being slighted and snubbed by the bigger names in boxing.

Yup. He's widely known as the guy who acted like a fool, then got a gift after talking endless trash and getting outclassed. His reputation is in tatters. If he moves on, well, imagine if Bradley had never rematched Pacquiao.
