“Without TR by his side?” What does that mean? Are you insinuating that Crawford has been the beneficiary of some fight decisions based on this association with Top Rank? If so, which fights? I don’t recall him having many or any controversial wins. As far as July 29 goes, are you going to disappear if Crawford wins or will you give him credit then? Not sure how long you’ve been watching fights, but if you doubt the quality of Terence Crawford, you should watch more.
By my join date, I had been watching boxing for a decade, 11 years to be exact. So now at 2023? I started watching at 5 years old, i’m in my 30s.
In all seriousness, if someone doesn’t like a favorite fighter of yours, it doesn’t mean they just started watching boxing. I was a Terence Crawford fanboy before he was top 10 P4P, before he was undisputed, before he even became a champion, back when he was called a boring fighter at 135. I was the guy hyping up his fights vs Burns and Beltran because they were good fights for his development. I was also the guy defending his performance vs Klimov, calling it just an opponent with an awkward/defensive style, like Boots vs Karen. I was also the one telling the haters “I told you so” after he beat his first real elite fighter in Postol at 140. You probably wouldn’t know this if you weren’t around the forums.
His consistently lackluster resume led me to stop cheering for him and defending him.

No, i’m not insinuating anything. I’m pointing out the obviously easy-going matchmaking Crawford has benefitted from in TR.

I like Stevenson, Lomachenko and Beterbiev from Top Rank, I like Ortiz from Golden Boy, I like Tank, I like Matchroom/DAZN. I’m a fan of many fighters from different countries. List is not exhaustive.
You sound way too fixated on Terence Crawford, especially using him as a measuring stick for someone’s knowledge or lack thereof.
If you are super impressed with all the WW’s he’s smashed, like Horn, Avenasyan, Kavaliaskas etc, that’s fine, be impressed. But you can’t force me to be impressed about a resume like that dude. You act like has Pacquiao, Mayweather, SRL, Hearns on his resume, a who’s who of welterweight greats. Dude has Jose Benavidez Jr on there. I’ll give you Porter, good fighter.
But you can’t convince me to like him. Just like I can’t convince you that he has a sh/t, lackluster resume.

Floyd wins. Granted he has not fought anyone at welterweight at prime Bud's level and skills, you can also say the same with Bud. Floyd is just a master of distance, he knows which game he has to bring against all his opponents. Against Crawford he will just fight outside, and outbox him and not go to war, I don't think Crawford is fast enough in terms of foot speed and hand speed. Floyd will jab to the head to the body and pull right counters all night long making it at times boring to the casuals, but he will win.

It’s painfully obvious that you are just throwing baseless accusations out there hoping one sticks? Idk, I don’t even know what you’re doing tbh.

I only saw one fighter make Floyd a bit uncomfortable and that didn’t last long. That was Zab. He was very fast.
Crawford likes to box at a slower pace. Something that Floyd likes too.
You have to make a boxer uncomfortable in the ring. Crawford would have made it easier on Floyd.
Personally don’t see anyone of these current welterweights being a problem for any top 5 welterweights in the past 20 years.
