Comments Thread For: Jack Catterall Advisor Wants Regis Prograis Next For September

Jack Catterall may have put himself into position for another shot at a junior welterweight title. The skilled southpaw from Chorley, England, returned to the ring last Saturday for the first time in more than a year to drop countryman Darragh Foley twice en route to a lopsided unanimous decision on the undercard of the Leigh Wood vs. Mauricio Lara featherweight title bout at AO Arena in Manchester.

Jack looked very sharp Saturday. Still looks like the guy who should have gotten the win against Taylor.

Could be quite entertaining, especially if you use the triangle theory! Catteral beat Taylor IMO, and Regis and Josh had a helluva fight.
I do t believe Jack can take the power from Regis though…tbd!

If Matchroom can't deliver Matias, I think fans will be perfectly satisfied to see Prograis defend against Catterall.

Catterall clearly beat Taylor, as did Prograis. That would be a 50/50 with Jack having a good chance at pulling it off.

I doubt Eddie Hearn will make this fight any time soon.

Prograis is a new recruit in his stable. You know how he fed Conor Benn crumbs.
Eddie couldn't even make the fight with Avanesyan, who fought most of his recent fights in the UK.

Avanesyan's promoter, Frank Warren, even offered to pay his fighter in the fight and Eddie
don't even have to bother looking for cash to pay Avanesyan. Hearn still say no.

So expect to see Prograis fight a long list of nobodies for many months to come.

Catterall is ****e. Couldn't beat Taylor, refused to fight Taylor in a rematch and is a racist, English, brexit wanker. Nothing going for the man at all.
