He said he was so sure he won the fight that he decided to take rd 12 off and cruise. This is proof Loma might have the dumbest team in all of boxing. You're not fighting some russian guy in kiev. Some below examples of ******ed moves the loma camp made. The video is around 3 minute mark starting.

1. Fighting salido in his 2nd fight and not complaining to the ref about the low blows.
2. Not putting a rematch clause in the lopez fight
3. Not taking the kambosa fight and pretending like he went to war for a PR move no one cares about. This would have been his victory as undisputed champ and given him more leverage going into haney fight. His friend Uskyk decided to fight Joshua even with the war.
4. Taking rd 12 off against haney because they thought they had it won

And if you look at Compubox, 12th round was hard-fought and Loma threw 55 punches, landing 13, so...

He thought the fight was in the bag so he didn't want to make any uneccesary risky moves that might cost him the fight. He went on cruise control.

I disagree he took it off he was definitely trying but Devin threw many more punches that round and did not give him a chance to do anything. But nevertheless he did make mistakes. One mistake is when you have a guy hurt you should not let him off the hook. Other mistake is that trying not to leave things in the judge's hands. You never know how the Vegas judges are scoring. Oscar De La Hoya did something similar vs Felix Trinidad and it was a mistake.

To be honest, De La Hoya thought he was out boxing Trinidad.

I did not think Lomachenko took round 12 off, looked like he was fighting hard in the Championship rounds 'But of course, EFFORT is a personal thing'.

Lomachenko most likely feels as if he could more effort into the round 12 etc.
