So why did Lara mysteriously choose not to fight?

He went in there from the first rd deciding to back up the whole fight and try NOT to hurt Wood..a blind man could see what was up with that one.

Shady Eddie up to his old games again.

He had a couple of pay days, money he never seen before. Came in heavy and didn't train. Followed the.andy Ruiz path

I think he pulled an Andy Ruiz. Got a huge win and thought he could win again without having to train hard. Coming in a 1-2lbs over means its probably time to move up, 4lbs over is a lack of discipline.

On another note, Luis Alberto Lopez seems to be hungry, disciplined, and underrated. Id favor him over Wood 10xs out of 10.

He didn't even make weight. I'm wondering what kind of camp he had.

Lopez would destroy wood but we all know Hearn won't let that fight happen.

I think Lara had a nice little talk to before the fight because if it was him just not preparing right you would still see him atleast try but he didn't he went In literally from the first round to retreat instead of forcing the action.

Lara hits like a mule, but his technique, footwork, conditioning and discipline are all mediocre. He was clearly losing the first Wood fight as well, before finding that hook. Even against Emilio Sanchez he had entirely shot his load, but still found the punches to save himself from defeat.

Basically, Lara wins fights thanks to Hail Marys and haymakers. But all it takes is boxing him with a minimum of brain, and he's out of his depth.

He was very close to fighting like Duran No Mas. He was saying No me importa in his corner...I dont care.

So in your biased mind a Mexican fighter couldn’t have just felt he was outmatched and went into survival mode, the “fix” just had to be in? Given who you are, nothing surprising there……..
