I think CBS gets chewed up at world level and Okolie probably has the higher ceiling but damn... my overiding feeling is one of simple relief that I won't have to watch Lawrence fight again for a good while...

Two of those knockdowns looked like terrible calls

CBS, Lopez, and Wood won tonight, I'm 3-0, feeling pretty good.

They were, but Okolie kept putting himself in compromising situations due to all the damn clinching. The knockdowns were basically another way to penalize him for holding lol

The realty is neither are that much above domestic level

Okolie just stumbled upon a world title by beating a very washed up fighter.

The way i described it is that both are British/ Euro level fighters but Okolie is a world level spoiler if he's allowed to be.

Very happy for CBS though, I know a few people that know him personally and say he's a genuinely quality guy. I've never met him though. Im also happy Okolie lost.

I think we can all agree CBS likely isn't going to be some long reigning champ or some undisputed champ but that's irrelevant tonight, he goes down in history as a world champion and nobody can take that away.

If there was a ever a fight to prove having a world title doesn't actually mean you're world class, it was this one.
