Haney vs Loma only 150K PPV buys?

If true, Haney better start chasing after Ryan and Tank for his next fight.

Dan Rafael reports that multiple sources have told him the sell-out fight generated around 150,000 pay-per-view buys via ESPN+ alongside cable and satellite services. The event cost $59.99 to purchase, and was available as part of the regular Sky Sports subscription in the UK.

I'll never pay to watch dwarfs box lol.

Welterweight is the smallest weight class I'd ever consider buying a PPV.

That's not bad considering the fighters involved.

          Who cares?

Keep fighting the best is the best way to make those numbers go up. That's all boxing fans should be asking for.

Jake Paul and Tank shows otherwise. Just generate enough hype outside of boxing and PPV will sell. Ryan Garcia is another good example. You don't have to fight the best to sell tickets.

Decent! Rematch would double maybe even triple as much as people are still talking about it

As I said a few weeks back. Tank-Garcia > Haney-Lomachenko proves that belts don’t matter.

It’s all about making fights the fans want to see.

Obviously not. The two best at 135 just fought for the undisputed title and it flopped. Tank and Garcia are not the best, and they sold over a million. I wonder who Spence/Crawford will do in July. Two of the best WW and P4P fighters.

everyone knew this fight would do lower numbers

tank and cryin have great fanbases who actually pay for their fights
