I’m not sure 150 for Loma vs Haney is a flop. It’s more than what Crawford ever did with a lot less money to guarantee. With the gate financially it’s possible that fight made money.

This fight should have been on regular ESPN

Depends what type of watch it is .Even my cheap rolex goes up in price 15% every year. A proper time piece can be an investment plus most of these boxers/ celebs are paid to wear certain timepieces ***ellery. Yes the watch he wears is 300k but you don’t know how much he paid for it

I can totally understand dressing nice but ***elry is a waste. It also turms you into a target.
You are trying to justify never buying ***ellery for your wife

A watch is imperative. Nothing wrong with a slim white gold chain to compensate for the fat stomach

Mayweather had a lot of charisma and likeable moments even playing the bad guy, Haney not the slightest.

Also skillwise they are two worlds apart. Mayweather was outboxing bigger guys, Haney is not even looking good against smaller fighters.

Haney will never do Mayweather numbers just by beeing unlikeable.

I think this shows the truth of the market. I still am not convinced of the so called 1.2m for Tank vs Garcia.. I know both of them are well known and Garcia with a huge instagram base but not 1.2m.

With Floyd people didn’t tune in just because he was undefeated. People tuned in because we knew he was the real deal. There’s about a half dozen dudes out there that have been undefeated and none of them, besides Tank, have come close to breaking through. Because we have questions about all of them, and Tanks just barely breaking through. People will spend money if you’re the real deal.

Problem is none of these guys have any personality. Broner was one of the most watched because casuals knew who he was. No one knows Loma or Haney

Personality and charisma matter more than talent.

Loma and Haney have more skill in their pinkies than a dude like Rolly has in his whole body.

Rolly makes his fights far more compelling because of his ridiculously outsized ego and irrational confidence.

                    Makes absolutely no sense.

Well yeah you might have a point, even as he started out as "Pretty Boy" Mayweather before acclimating to Welterweight, he was still in the smaller side, aiming against physically big former world champions like Genaro Hernandez and Chico Corrales at 130.

Even against a fan favorite by the public, Haney still did worse than frigging Rolly Romero in PPV sales which speaks volumes.
