Who would thought that Dubois would be getting a title shot, after his near disastrous fight against Kevin Lerena.
Even that he would get a shot at a title against Usyk, before Dubois' only conqueror to date Joe 'The Juggernaut' Joyce.
That said I believe that Usyk, and Fury beat both Dubois, and Joyce in title defense's if, or when they fight each other.

Dunno why Dubois wouldn't take this fight. With his dodgy knees and damaged eye he may never get another shot

Take not UFC fighters Usyk is a champ but not a draw how many UFC let alone MMA champs are getting 6m for a fight let alone 2m to face the champ in a non ppv worthy fight drum roll none. More fighters need to pursue free agency and drive up fighter pay

$2m for Dubois, $4m for Usyk? So actually both are probably similar offers in reality.

Anyway, surprised the bid went ahead, Dubois is apparently not going forward with it. Guess they wanted to see if they could nick the win and put it as far back as possible.
This is something people failed (or refused) to understand about the Fury Whyte purse bid. The team with the bigger share can bid higher - they're only increasing their costs by 25 cents on the dollar.

Good for Dubois if he can get himself fit. Good for Usyk as his team have control of the promotion.

And at least someone might actually fight rather than talk about it.

I feel Usyk could win nearly every round in this. Dubois is a good fighter, but the man has not lived up anywhere near what he could have been. So long as Usyk is focused and in shape (and he never has failed to be) he should score at will on Dubois. This may be a wide UD or a "corner calls it" kind of fight.

I hope the Fury-Usyk unification happens after this. Hey, if Spence and Crawford could finally agree to a 2-part fight, why not the next miracle?

Dubois is a live dog in this one… I may just throw some change in the upset. I won’t be one bit surprised if he solves the Usyk puzzle with just sheer physicality alone.

Is it me or is their problems every time Dubois is set to fight
Seems like there’s always something strange going on

Usyk without a doubt is a MAN of his word and will fight Dubois like he said he would.

Fury without a doubt is a lying clown and will fight Chisora AGAIN and say it will be another one of his toughest fights Yet.

Dubois is a better fighter that Dempsey Mckean on merit to date.

Dubois vs Usyk is a bigger fight than people are anticipating.

Dubois is a UK fighter, if he takes the fight 'He is fighting for the unified Heavyweight titles'.

Even if this fight was staged in the UK 'It would of easily been a stadium fight'.

I think Dubois should just take the fight, win or lose I think he has a lot to gain. I don't even think a loss would be catastrophic on his resume. Fighting for a Heavyweight title win or lose a fighter will acquire invaluable experience etc.
