JMM gets my respect, Floyd does not.

    JMM > Floyd
LOL. You must be joking. Floyd whips JMM every day of the week and twice on Sunday. That was a skills fight.

Because Hatton is done, that's why. I'd be happy for JMM to get the pay day. But if he just fought Hatton and didn't take any other fights against these upcoming fighters, it would confirm to me that now he has tasted that green from the Floyd fight, he is done like Hatton is too or close to it.

It is BECAUSE he lost to Floyd. People seek to discredit Floyd and his accomplishments whenever possible, and in this case they are doing it by discrediting his opponent.
Odd that many of these same people predicted JMM to win.

Not sure that is true, and I am also not convinced Floyd pushed very hard for the stoppage.

                      champion in 3 weight divisions.

moved up to light weight at age 35 and swept it by knocking out the 2 best light weights that had never been knocked out. all of this while many people were sayn light weight was out of his element.

and finally, in 2008 he was fighting at 130, in 2009 he was fighting the strongest and biggest Floyd Mayweather weve seen at 147 and looked like he had been a welterweight contender for years.
Barrera's been washed up for years...and giving a legend a close fight does not make you a legend...
