Besides that it is a lot of holding, a lot of moving around afraid to engage, and a lot of grazing or missing arm punches from both guys as they waited around. This is like a movie script that needs to be 100 pages to film a full movie, and there is a deadline to start shooting the movie, but all they had is 20 pages. 20 great pages, but still not enough to make a good movie. If this fight had not been close, and you just judge the action, it was really bad. Very low activity fight. Lots of simplistic moves. Lots of missing. Even the biggest action rounds of the fight, 10 and 11, if you go back and watch them, it's just like one or two big combinations, and a few big single shots, and then Loma goes back to waiting around like he's trying to throw the fight, waiting for Haney to recover.
If the best rounds of the fight, like round 10, only have 15 punches scored total, that's a terrible fight. Even in round 11 Loma landed 20 out of 50 punches. This guy is supposed to throw 100 punches per round and land 40 of them at this level, if he is any good like they marketed him, instead he is throwing like 40 punches per round and only landing like 10 of them. That's a terrible fight lol.
I mean seriously think about it, Loma landed only 1 punch of every 20 seconds of action, and only maybe 20% of them were actually big clean punches, same with Haney.
So you're watching this fight and you get to see like 1 good punch every minute and a half from each guy. That's terrible. And most of them were not even that big. You saw the few times they actually committed a little more (still not 100%, because it's just WWF, but more than the rest of the time), they were explosive and it was exciting. Like round 11 Loma when he was actually throwing with some force, it was exciting, and the way they did the show it made it look like Haney could not handle that version of Loma that was actually exchanging bombs and putting his weight into punches. Because how are you supposed to keep a much bigger man honest if you arent putting steam on your punches? But Loma did that maybe for 1 minute out of the 36 minute fight. The rest of the fight he was throwing arm punches messing around. And Haney the same thing. He committed more than Loma but still a lot of arm jabs and weak punches.
So I know why the boxing media shills are hyping this up as a good fight but I dont understand why boxing fans are. I think we have been so starved of decent boxing matches that we finally got one that was really awesome for like 5 minutes out of 36, and that was enough to trick some people that it was a good show. It really wasn't. I think Loma and Haney maybe were too busy being social media influencers to actually practice and perfect a full 36 minute great fight, so they just came up with 5 minutes of good stuff but thats it. Plus why would they bother making a good full show to watch if fans will pay the same to watch this crap anyway? If boxing would not put any effort even into making Mayweather vs Pacquiao interesting, after fans waited for so long, then why would this be any different.
I honestly cant remember the last good boxing fight that was actually between two top boxers. They are getting lazy or something or they just dont care.
However, it was a good tactical, scientific and fundamentally sound type of fight. Where both fighters were playing a game of boxing chess by trying to out think one another other and anticipate the other's next move.
I don't know about you but I was highly entertained by this fight and will be more than happy to pay to watch it again. It was much better than the trash that DAZN, Matchroom, Eddie Hearn and Canelo tries to push down our throats
Charging more than $60 for some uneven mismatch against very limited, no-hopers and Euro bums with very little chance of defeating or winning against him.TheOneAboveAll likes this.

Haha Devin ”Dream On” Hankey thinks a hometown robbery makes his stock go up. He’s not even P4P top 50.
He looked in tears each time he was hit. He goes up in weight and fights guys his size and he will get spanked so bad. His best bet is to fight Loma again as Loma is aging and at least much smaller.
His top wins:
Linares by UD
Kambozo by UD
Lomachenko by Robbery
He’s about as much P4P #1 as Lucas Browne. Except Haney will never have the b4llz to face Big Baby Miller.Cypocryphy likes this.

Disrespectful.
Crawford "Beat The Man That Beat The Man", which according to him, justified his #1 P4P on NSB.

This guy literally got the win by robbery. Clear victory for Loma. And Based off that he should be number 1?
My God! These new young fighters wither their daddies are too much. The delusion is next level. He shouldnât be in the P4P list at all. Say it was a controversial decision and that he has to fight Loma again to prove he can actually beat him or fight another champ and win if he wasnât to be on the P4P list.Last edited by Cypocryphy; 05-24-2023, 12:27 AM.
