most people are retracting their initial scores after rewatching, once loma figured out devin it was too late, had he won the last round he probably would have got the nod or a draw, everybody crying robbery were overrreacting it was a very close and good fight and boxing fans should be happy but its being overshadowed by these cry babies. Even if you think loma won its not by a wide margin, you just gave the close rounds to him

I respect your points. Solid post. If you look at the punch counts landed, there were only 2 rounds with even # of punches landed. The other 10 were split 5 for haney and 5 for loma.

That suggests Haney was given both close rounds. That is enough to win imo.

I suppose it's just how boxing works. I think we can all agree it was a tightly-contested fight. The fairest thing would be to do it again, though boxing isn't really in the business of fair. Haney shouldn't be scared of a rematch as Loma is on the back slope -- but we know Haney doesn't want it.

That all 3 judges had Haney winning makes it more, not less su****ious. The odds on that happening without outside influence are pretty high, considering how most saw the fight.
