Loma had size & weight disadvantages but he came close. Neither guy is a big puncher so it went to a decision for Haney. Tough break for Loma.

Haney is about to get the Tim Bradley treatment. Who want to see a boring fighter who doesn't have power? He lost in the eyes of many, you think they want to see him again.

Yeah, three American judges scoring a fight for the American fighter is all the proof needed that the American guy won. Lmao.

Imagine it was the other way around. Three Ukrainian judges scoring a fight for the Ukrainian for the undisputed championship with the event hosted in Kiev.

Yet here we are, Haney got outboxed, outlanded and couldn't hurt Lomachenko once while having his own head snapped back multiple times holding for dear life. Haney is a protected paper champion, like youngest child or teacher's favourite. Everyone will be rooting for him to lose from now on.

He has beat older Jorge Linares and the great Kambosos for the undisputed and needed to gang up 4 to 1 with the judges to keep his belts against Lomachenko who is smaller and 35.

This is why, my friends, records don't tell the whole story. Boxing is crooked and not judged on who is not the best at boxing.

I just had a thought…. I wonder if Carl Moretti of TR is related to Dave Moretti…??
Would be a conflict of interest imho.

Loma lost fair and square. Deal with it and stop crying. Haney neutered the matrix.

Neutered him by repeatedly having his head snapped back, that's definitely how it's done.

I agree with the scorecard's being wide but that's not Haney's fault. As far as I'm concerned, he did enough to win a razor thin contest as did Lomachenko. The fight is the definition of splitting hairs outside of round 10 & 11, which Lomachenko dominated.

A rematch should happen because of how close the fight was, there was no conclusive winner.

People are rooting for the underdog.

Haney had youth, size, age, 36 hours to rehydrate but foot a razor close fight cuz Loma IS a dog.

So Loma IS some sort of moral winner.
But still has one more loss on his record

Haney should rematch Loma. That's what great fighters do.

For whatever reason Loma never got a rematch from Salido, Teo and won't have one from Haney.

I think mainly because Loma had them figured out in the second parts of the fight and it's better to walk away with a narrow win.

That's what great fighters do, they run It back when it's close.
