I like Bradley as a commenter, dude knows his stuff, Ward's okay I guess, the rest are no good.

I miss Teddy Atlas. So much passion for the sport. Plus is off the walls and absolutely bonkers analogies were hilarious. Atlas was so unafraid to speak his mind, it got him in trouble, which I loved about him.

Bradley has been ok but his brain does sound fried sometimes (which I feel bad for, having listened to his struggles post-Provodnikov).

Lots of baffling choices though- Algieri is a nice guy but my god he's dull.

Joe Tessitore needs to be banned from calling any sport. He is unbearable. He sounds like a **** game show voiceover or an announcer in a **** sports video game. His tone is all wrong, he never captures the moment.
Ironically, Tessitore was part of the commentary team in some of the Fight Night games iirc.

Joe Tessitore is actually playing his role of EA sports Fight Night video game commentator. When I hear him now I can’t get the video game out my head. It’s word for word lol

ESPN, for some reason, is amateur hour.

During the prelims they brought in Shakur to interview him, and they had given him a headset that didn't work, and it took three attempts at questioning before they realized it. Who doesn't test a headset before they go live on camera? Then they hand him a hand mike, but it wasn't working either. Are you kidding me?

They had numerous times when they had no content running, just a "we're having technical difficulties" screen with a soccer background. Even DAZN puts up a rerun of relevant fight interviews or hype content that they'd filmed already, or runs a commercial.

Then the PPV card was absolutely plagued with technical issues. Multiple cutouts on the English broadcast, both audio and video. I got a partial refund on mine, because only the main event was fully watchable. Almost every paid card I've done, including UFC cards, has had this kind of issue. And it's never been on my end. I've got the top three best streamers, a 2 gig connection, and top end mesh networking, and it's just constant issues with ESPN. Showtime and DAZN have never given me these kinds of headaches, although I cancelled DAZN for other reasons.

As far as commentary goes, I like Rogan and Mitch Chilson the best. And I really enjoy David Diamante as an announcer. He's good at building up excitement.

I didn't think it could get any worse after I'd heard Jim Watt for so long.

ESPN is awful and its not just Bradley, Ward is every bit as bad.
I'm not just saying it due to this weekends action either, its just plain awful.

There is no insight to what is actually going on or educating fans.
Its just fanboyism, pure hype and painting false narratives and the weirdest most awkward conversations and pauses. Listening to them two is like some awkward ****** with no game attempting to chat up a woman who doesn't have a grain of personality. You can only cringe.

I miss Manny Steward & Paulie or well being able to watch fights without having to mute the commentary.
You didn’t like Jim Watt? I thought him and Nick Halling were excellent for the most part.

Not a big fan of the current ESPN commentary, bring back Teddy Atlas.

Ward is just as boring and tedious as a commentator as he was a fighter.
