ESPN commentary is horrendous

Excruciating torture.
I didn't think it could get any worse after I'd heard Jim Watt for so long.

ESPN is awful and its not just Bradley, Ward is every bit as bad.
I'm not just saying it due to this weekends action either, its just plain awful.

There is no insight to what is actually going on or educating fans.
Its just fanboyism, pure hype and painting false narratives and the weirdest most awkward conversations and pauses. Listening to them two is like some awkward ****** with no game attempting to chat up a woman who doesn't have a grain of personality. You can only cringe.


I miss Manny Steward & Paulie or well being able to watch fights without having to mute the commentary.

I don’t know how Andre Ward gets hired for this after insulting the fans repeatedly saying it’s unacceptable for the paying viewers to think this was a robbery. And saying Haney doesn’t have a fan base because he wears Jordans. But this is Disney ESPN.

Bradley talks ****e and is annoying.

Paulie and Manny were great. Sunny Edwards seems good.

Yeah they’re bad, almost as bad as the DAZN bunch.

Showtime has the best commentators especially with Al Bernstein who is great and very underrated. It gets weighed down when they bring in Mares though.

Tim Bradley still has brain damage, Andre Ward is so-so, and whoever the other guy is is just horrible.

Ward might be the worst commentator and pundit in the history of boxing, definitely one of them, he is a disgrace.

I really hoped Ward would so much better, with his boxing IQ etc, providing some more technical stuff. But some people just dont translate to broadcast. He is trash.

Bradley has been ok but his brain does sound fried sometimes (which I feel bad for, having listened to his struggles post-Provodnikov).

Lots of baffling choices though- Algieri is a nice guy but my god he's dull.

Joe Tessitore needs to be banned from calling any sport. He is unbearable. He sounds like a **** game show voiceover or an announcer in a **** sports video game. His tone is all wrong, he never captures the moment.

I thought the same. Then I switched over to another broadcast with Chris Algieri and it wss worse.
