Is scoring it 115-113 for Haney a robbery?

4 rounds loma definetly won and 1 round haney won without a doubt and that's the 12th

That's 5 rounds right there so basically out of the other 7 the judges gave the nod to haney in just about every other round barring 1 which is ridiculous when you think about it like that

Did you deduct a point from Haney for repeatedly rabbit punching Loma, as the disgustingly biased referee should have done?

Seven rounds for Haney is blatant favoritism or outright corruption. Even when trying hard to give Devin Haney rounds, finding more than five he won is hard. The early rounds were tight and competitive but not hard to score in my opinion. Anyone saying Haney swept the first six rounds is a liar. The kid was outclassed and schooled down the stretch.

Yes, it's a very reasonable score to a boxing fan of reason. It's nowhere near a robbery as many of these so-called Loma and casual fans would lead one to believe.

There are 12 rounds of boxing bout not three. However, The Loma fans would rather have one to just simply ignore and omit the first 9 rounds of the bout and just focus on the last three rounds where Loma dominated

Just watched and scored the first 3 rds. Lomachenko won the first 3. Did what he wanted, ring general, landed more punches, landed the more effective punches. Assuming Lomachenko took 9-11 like the vast majority think so. Draw at most.

it just felt like watching it and thinking about it post fight that all the 50-50 or even 55-45 rounds in lomas favour went to Haney

it’s almost like if lona didn’t dominate the round clearly, he lost it

Haney didn’t look that sharp to me, so it’s the weight causing a problem imo

haney should get a rematch done to wrong the right

I remember when there was a little bit of talk after Floyd and maidana (apologies spelling is wrong) he went and got a second fight signed and dominated and now people don’t talk about the first fig he being quite close

I would say loma a very tightly contested fight in my opinion but I don’t have an issue with people scoring with Haney

                it’s boxing, it’s a shady sport
I don't call it a robbery but indeed, Haney needs to run it back, he can't flee to 140lbs like that.
Though, playing the vilain might serve his pockets well going forward. At the moment, everyone wants Shakur to thoroughly outbox Haney or Tank to knock him out clean or even for Ryan to catch him with a hook. Imagine, Haney pulling these three wins.

                  I think it’s acceptable. I don’t think it’s necessarily correct but it’s a plausible card.

Those first 8-9 were close so if you give Haney 6 of those and the 12th you can potentially score it 7-5.

The scoring in the 12th round was pure BS and gave Haney the fight. It was a close fight either way, and how the 12th round was scored tiped the fight, so they were baised. Check the puchstats!

Devin Haney found success early on by targeting Vasily Lomachenko’s body with his right hand. Haney landed 50 body punches, 49 of which were power punches.

The best call is a draw.

No. If you gave every close round to Haney you could have him winning.

Context is important though. Yet again though we have a fight where the majority of boxing fans saw a guy win, but they handed the W to the A side, not caring how loud the boos from the crowd were. The fact that all of these bad decisions are predictable in who they are favour is enough that imo any boxing fan should've realised by now that we're following a rigged game most of the time. But if we're going to play devil's advocate and try to defend the sport, it could be a pure coincidence that over and over again the judges get it wrong.

Part of the reason people are calling it a robbery is that round 10 scorecard. It is impossible to score that round for Haney unless you are corrupt in his favour. So therefore we know one of the judges is paid off. Seems a bit pointless to only buy off only one judge and more likely the other judges were just more sensible, less obvious about it.
