There ought to be a rematch from this but I have a feeling Haney wouldn't want it !
It was a pro-Loma crowd. Some (if not most) probably made it about Ukraine and Loma's heroism. But their biased cheers doesn't influence a fight and says nothing about who really won. Ricky Hatton brought what seemed like all of Britain to his fight against Mayweather in Vegas.

Who’s grouping who? Or did I hit a nerve?

Loma had a chance to even up two of the scorecards by winning the 12th round, but clearly lacked championship mettle. I think two of the judges got it right at 7-5 for Haney, with the 12th being the deciding round. Lets face facts, Loma was never that guy, but he does make for nice gatekeeper at 135, as he loses to Tank, Shakur, Martin and Keyshawn Davis. His days of relevance are over.. -_-

But also because as bizarre as it might sound, US fans don't turn out for their fighters. They turn up for the spectacles, sure. But short of Bud Crawford home town fights, no one really gives a **** about anyone in the US, compared to the UK for example. Here non-title fights, or British title fights are still sell outs. When would you see any sort of hype for an NABF fight?

This is true. I've heard tennis players and other athletes talk about how other countries will root for their countryman/woman unconditionally. In the U.S., it's definitely conditional. Lol

Only casual here is you go look at all sports outlets and social media I'm not the only one that thinks this, maybe you need to go to the optometrist little Lance. The general consensus is that Haney got a gift, it's there to be seen even Bob Arum told Lomachenko he won and he promotes them both.
