Granted there were a lot of “swing” rounds with few “eye catching” shots being landed, but what I saw last night was a smaller fighter backing up the bigger man all night long. Yes he took some shots to get inside, but he never relented, controlled the action while implementing his strategy. Haney was investing to the body but to little avail as shown by how strong the older, smaller Lomachenko was until the last round.
Loma is special. Haney will get beat up at 140-147.

Like many I think it could have gone either way. You had Teo loosing to Loma, correct..

Definitely a close fight. It was a tale of two halves. Devin did great work to the body to slow Loma’s attack. Of course Loma came on strong with his conditioning but I think Devin earned the 12th which could have been the difference.

Haney said to his dad in the corner looking for clues 'he's knows everything I'm doing' .....Haney put in a great performance and his body shots were effective but Loma won a close fight by two rounds . So much for ending Loma's career , it seems to have started a fire!
Haney is not the best p4p as he ridiculously claims , not even top five. I am still a 'non- believer' but I do believe Stevenson will do a number on him .

great fight, i think robbery is an over exaggeration by people who wanted haney to lose... close fight, a draw or either way is okay with me, if you re watch it and drop biased you will see a close fight thats hard to judge, no one fighter dominated.. loma gave up too many early rounds, came on late as usual... i had it 7-5 haney but a few of those rounds were very close. all you guys who were crying about hugging should be satisfied

You have to beat the champion. Haney fought the wrong fight against a lefty but he won a very close decision in my opinion because his punches landed clear clean especially the body attack. The dam crowd was yelling even when Loma was missing. He's not Pacquiao so that pathetic sht didn't work last night.

You must have smoked too many backwoods before viewing. Lomo clearly landed the harder, cleaner shots on the bigger fighter and backed him up. Best case scenario is you could give Haney 5 rounds, at best. You nut huggers with mayo hanging off your mouth fanboys are hilarious though. The fact that you said Haney landed clear clean punches though tells me all that we need to know about that low iq of yours. But remember, nut hugging and d riding won’t get Haney to reply back to your dm’s you sent him.

Haney never seemed to bothered the smaller man , whereas Haney looked in trouble and disorganised on a few occasions . No where near the win Haney claimed it would be!

No. His body shots weren’t effective at all!

They landed, yes. So you could say they’re scoring points, but beyond that, they didn’t do what they were supposed to do.

Haney was attempting to drain Lomachenko’s gas tank by going to the body. That’s the only reason why someone would go to the body that hard. To tire out your opponent.

It didn’t work.

If it did work, Lomachenko wouldn’t have come on so strong and have HUGE rds 10 and 11. The smaller boxer, who was eating body shots all night from the bigger boxer, actually hurt the bigger boxer LATE IN THE BOUT! And he HAD MORE ENERGY than Haney.

Aside from Haney scoring points to the body, his body work was not effective at all

And what that tells me is Haney has zero punching power. He’s like Paulie Malignaggi.
