He's a HOF fighter and analyst who gets paid for his opinions. Do you seriously believe he ran into retirement to avoid JCCJr. I never heard that before.

Jake had been training for 4 years and finally fought an even matched opponent and an ACTUAL BOXER UNDER 35 WHO IS THE SAME WEIGHT CLASS.

Imagine that he looses to the very first ACTUAL BOXER UNDER 35 WHO IS IN HIS SAME WEIGHT CLASS. even if the guy is a D level boxer.

Now Jake is back to fighting ALMOST 40 Years old, 20 pounds smaller cage fighters and wrestlers. Nate Diaz has LITERAL BRAIN DAMAGE from taking too many punches and Jake has no shame in fighting him.

Froch tried to make the Chavez Jr fight as he wanted to fight in Vegas. Chavez Jr didn't want it so Froch retired instead. If I remember the timeline, Chavez Jr wanted an 'easier' fight so went to PBC to face Fonfana, who gave him a one sided beatdown.

lol, no beating around the bush from Froch. He may never get that fight but Paul's shine has dimmed. Fighting Diaz next confirms lowered confidence.
