    LMAO
    YOu guys are super funny
Hatton is nothing but a gate keeper at best
if he wasnt done and over with he would easily continue to fight but he obvioiusly is done. I think Hatton would welcome a fight with Ortiz only in UK for the money. That would be a decent fight.
LMAO at the people saying he needs to prove himself instead of getting a immediate rematch. He is and was the star at the time and he still is a bigger name that maidana hanna montana.

Just a guess but...I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a matter of $$$. GBP probably figure that Ortiz is the draw for the people buying tickets and for HBO, so he deserves most of the purse. Maidana figures that he deserves the lion's share for a fight that he has nothing to gain from, against a guy he already beat.

What a joke. Oritz should be concerned with the Bradley's, Alexander's, Khan's and Peterson's of the world. Not the Hatton.

And I am quite sure that Hatton would welcome a Juan Manuel Marquez fight long before he ever stooped low enough for a Victor Ortiz fight. Makes absolutely no financial sense for Hatton and all the financial sense for Ortiz.

Ortiz is young and still has so much potential and has the tools to become champ. Man i swear boxing fans are some of the most brutal people. If its not their boxer than they are quick to hate on them and not even give them another chance

Lets not be mistaken here. Ortiz is no live gate draw and only an HBO guy because GBP put him there. He has no bargaining power when it comes to Maidana. If he wasn't a coward he would fight Maidana at a 70/30 split just for the opportunity of redemption.

Victor, Victor, Victor…… let me see if I understand. First you had broken… I mean shatter (as in a million pieces) wrist and obviously that’s part of the reason why you lost (off course you did not say that, you innocently mention a cast). Then you say that your “good’ friend Max, misunderstood y our statement… well max and the rest of the world. To finish, you say that Marcos doesn’t want to fight you… in other words, he is scared and probably trembling under his bed just by the thought of fighting you again…. hilarious.
This is what I call damage control and I’m certain that your promoters prepped you to answer this questions. But man, most of you think you are very talented, so the next times just say something like this…. I shattered my wrist in a hard and tough fight that I lost but I learned a great deal from. My comments were spawn in the heat of defeat and I don’t feel that way… I was just disappointed for letting so many people down. With regards to Marcos, I will work my ass toward a rematch, but I give him credit for knocking my azz off!
                Amen.

I don't mind giving him another chance. But his chance should be built back and against the appropriate opponents.

Also, he need not blame his words on Max Kellerman.

I'm not gonna talk bad about Vic,but I don't believe for a second that Maidana is afraid of him,not 1 bit!!I mean the man got put down more than little & just kept on pushing for the win!!Maidana showed he is made of sturn material,Vic looked horrible in his interview afterward,I'd like to see him under pressure again,to see if he is willing to fight or quit!!
