at least Victor wants to avenge his defeat, can't say the same for a lot of boxers out there right now

Sorry, what? Khan wanted a rematch with Prescott after the fight with Barrera but his promoter Frank Warren pulled him off it and moved him up to 140.I dont get the hate for Ortiz, honestly.
I mean, the guy fought his heart out for 6 rounds and came very close to ending the fight in the first two rounds. and its not like hes Amir Khan, who just skipped over a Prescott rematch. he wants to avenge his loss.
I really dont get whats the problem.Comment

wizardking you have a point about chris fighting his ass off but that was messed up the way he cried before the interview during and after. ortiz is young and did'nt expect that kind of loss then a microphone stuck right up in his face. i understand ortiz reaction better than chris. my opinionComment

Well if he doesn't get Maidana, why would he even worry about Ricky Hatton he should worry about fighting others in 140. Doesn't sound like he will get the maidana rematch anytime soon so why not go for someone else.Comment

chris's reaction came from fighting his heart out and having the doc stop it when he at least wanted to finish even if he knew he was getting ****ed up. Ortiz reaction came from not wanting to get ****ed up anymore. He's too young for it remember. I always hated hearing Oscar get interviewed because he seems so fake. I've been unfortunate to see him twice at the boxing gym i use to train and I realized he was a fake and is a **** in real life. Most people that have met him have told me the same thing. I was glad that he retired but now I have to hear another fake ass punk being coached by odlh, not owning up to being a quitter. De la hoya probably advised him to get a cast put on him. Worse than quiting is not owning up to it. If he owned up to it and said he wanted to avenge his loss from quitting i would understand but dude keeps making himself seem like a punk the way hes trying to make excuses for him quitting.Comment
