If he is serious about Canelo or anyone at 168, maybe he should campaign there and then call out Canelo when it is warranted (some good wins).

At this point, due to his lack of a good resume, and being a Middleweight, he would do zero for Canelo’s resume. Would be looked at like the wins over Khan or Yildirim, just pointless and nothing special to talk about. At this age and point in his career, Canelo shouldn’t take those types of pointless fights anymore.

Canelo is classes above, being in weight, ability, or marketability. Charlo is busy handling family problems and is effectively retired. GGG is the way to come up, dont be scared

He's never getting Canelo. If he wants to move up, then call out Benavidez or Morrell.

Charlo hasn't fought in years and looks like an AA meetings regular these days. Make Adames an offer.

Anybody, anywhere, anytime, preferably against declining or inactive fighters instead of active and hungry fighters in their prime.

TR doesn't really have much for him at 160. What's up with murata? Did he retire after the ggg fight? If not, that would b a solid fight, but other than that he should consider moving up. Bazinyan vs janibek would b good fight at 168 and he could potentially become the Mando for the wbo with that fight.

You mean by fighting the Ring #5 ranked fighter at 168?

                  That’s not a pointless fight.

A pointless fight, as I have stated, would be facing another 154-160 pounder, or a guy like Yildirim, who wasn’t ranked as a top 10 fighter at 168 by The Ring or any serious boxing publications (so not WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF).

Time for Esquiva Falcao to step up, and make the fight for the vacant IBF belt?

Ryder was bumped up the rankings to establish another beatable, but now ranked and credible, opponent for Canelo. He beat, actually was gifted a homer victory against, a washed up Jacobs whose only reason for fighting is to retire with a few more paychecks, and won on a technicality, the opponent breaking his hand, against Parker. Parker was tapping him up for the first 3 rounds before the injury.
